Bio
A principal with Elkus Manfredi Architects and an experienced design leader, John Martin brings exceptional depth to his work. His talent as an architect, urban planner, and manager is informed by a broad understanding of real estate and expertise in the technical requirements of buildings, open space, and infrastructure. John’s experience ranges from overseeing master plans for entire campuses and mixed-use developments, to research buildings that support interdisciplinary discovery, to the revitalization of urban communities into dynamic places.
John received Bachelor degrees in both Environmental Design in Architecture and Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, and a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

Want to give back to the University and make sure the school keeps an eye on practice as well as academic research.
