Building Systems Integration
The Building Systems Integration research program at NC State was established in 1986. The mission is to research how design can improve health and energy performances of the built environment and to develop integrated building systems that involve daylighting, structural, mechanical, interior furnishings, and outdoor environmental elements.
The research group is led by Dr. Wayne Place and Dr. Jianxin Hu.
