Bio
Hannah Dankbar is a graduate of Iowa State University’s Master of Community and Regional Planning and Sustainable Agriculture programs. She worked as an environmental land use planner along the Columbia River Estuary before moving to North Carolina as the Local Food Program Manager for NC State Extension. Hannah continues to work full-time in her Extension position while enrolled in the PhD in Design program part-time where she is working to integrate her Extension work and research interests to help rural communities address complex engagement and planning processes and strengthen our state’s food system.
