Ashley Davis

Bio

Ashley Davis is the director for the Design Lab, the College of Design’s K-12 outreach initiative. The Design Lab offers pre-college programming, outreach, and teacher programming, including the College of Design’s popular Design Camp, Weekend Workshops, Field Trips for school groups, and teacher professional development opportunities. These programs serve thousands of students, families, educators, and members from local and international communities each year.

Ashley has over a decade of experience working in the Wake County Public School System, mostly as a high school English teacher, but also as an International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme coordinator. She is passionate about the interdisciplinary nature of design thinking and invested in providing K-12 students with university-level experiences and understanding.
