Bio

Christine Klocke serves as the Director of Communications and Marketing for the College of Design. Prior to her tenure at NC State, she served as the director of marketing and communications for the Office of the Provost at the University of Houston and focused on developing print, email, and social media campaigns to increase engagement for Office of the Provost initiatives and activities. Other previous experience includes working with Mercury Associates, Inc., the largest fleet management consulting company in North America. There, she worked directly with industry publications to organize articles by the company’s subject-matter-experts, promoted business development through print and online communications while tracking online engagement and analytics, and designed, wrote content, and executed new websites for the firm. Christine also has experience with website management, advertising, member involvement, and event planning through her work with AIA Charlotte, a local chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a focus in advertising from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
