Karen DeWitt

Bio

Karen E. DeWitt heads the Harrye B. Lyons Design Library, which serves 65 faculty and more than 700 students of the College of Design.

Working with the college community, DeWitt develops the Design Library’s book, journal and electronic collections; creates services that incorporate new information technology into teaching, learning and meeting user needs; and updates the art, architecture and design content of the MyLibrary@NCState web portal. She provides leadership for the Design Slides Image Database, an effort to digitize images from the slide collection and to create access to the images through a structured database.
