Bio
Lee Cherry has experience with interactive software development & project management oversight as a technical producer, interactive designer and information architect. He has developed and managed large-scale interactive projects that leverage technology, user experience design and information graphics for such companies as American Express, Accipiter, Böwe Bell & Howell, CAM/Raleigh, GlaxoSmithKline, Grant Hill Ventures, IBM, NBC Sports, Nortel, NC Museum of Art and The United States Tennis Association.
Lee Cherry holds two degrees from North Carolina State University; a BA in Industrial Design from the College of Design and a MBA in Innovation Management from the NC State Jenkins MBA Program, College of Management. He completed his Non-Profit Management Certification through the Master of Public Administration program at NCSU in 2013. He helps support diverse research efforts within the College of Design and its Graduate Programs as well as manage and facilitates activities within the William Keating Bayley IT Lab, Virtual Production Lab, Experience Design Lab, Lampe Digital Fabrication Studio and Makerspaces.
