Chinhua Lin

Chinhua Lin earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Tatung University in Taipei, Taiwan, and a Master of Design in Designed Objects from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Before beginning her teaching career, she worked professionally as a furniture designer at Holly Hunt under Knoll Inc. for over five years. Her areas of expertise include furniture design, product design, graphic design, as well as materials and manufacturing. Prior to joining NC State University, Chinhua served as an assistant professor at Kansas State University, where she taught courses in industrial and furniture design.
