Bio
Jason Forney is a Principal with Bruner/Cott Architects in Boston, Mass. As the design leader for many of the firm’s notable buildings, Jason has advanced Bruner/Cott’s legacy of boldly reusing historic buildings and expanded its commitment to contemporary, sustainable architecture.
In 2020, Jason was named a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, the Institute’s highest honor, for his exceptional work and contributions to the profession. His work has received awards at the national, regional, and local levels that include the AIA COTE Top Ten, AIA Award for Interior Architecture and Building of the Year recognition from The Architect’s Newspaper. His work has been published by Architectural Record, ARCHITECT, ArchDaily, Metropolis, The Boston Globe, The New York Times, and WIRED.
Holding a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design, Jason is a third-generation alumnus of NC State, and is grateful for the high-value design education, the amazing teachers and life-long friends he found at the College of Design in the 1990s.
