Bio

Lanaya Jeffers serves as the university program associate for the Department of Landscape Architecture + Environmental Planning at the NC State University College of Design.

Before joining the college, Lanaya supported department heads, faculty, and students in higher education. Before transitioning into higher education, she was a charter school teacher, where she introduced architecture to underserved students in grades 3–5.

Lanaya holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Monroe University and a Certified Administrative Assistant Career Diploma from Penn Foster Career School, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Criminal Justice.
