Animation Oriented Re-Design

Project Overview/Scope

This course examines art and design with a hands-on approach.

  • ADN 202 is one of the courses offered for students required to complete Art and Design Sophomore Studio II.
    • These courses focus on the foundational creative disciplines that are taught at the intermediate and advanced levels.
  • ADN 202 focuses on visual composition, and this project is centered around utilizing animation and design fiction.
    • Students were asked to create a short animation illustrating proposed redesigns.
      • Animations were to be 90 – 120 seconds, and follow a clear, specified story arc
    • The ultimate goal was to utilize animation to illustrate the role of intentional architectural choices, natural light, collaborative, and quiet spaces.
