Bio

My interest in architectural history and my scholarly experiences in environmental design in architecture lead me to pursuit research in finding out how we can determine sustainability, energy efficiency and environmental influence of past historical architecture, and to quantify, systemize and modernize them. I believe my research will help future architects to incorporate historical architectural values and technologies with modern sustainable building technology, allow modern buildings’ historical values to align with sustainable goals, and aid energy-efficient conservation for historic buildings.
