Common Career Paths for Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning Majors
Landscape Architect – Plan and design land areas for projects such as parks and other recreational facilities, airports, highways, hospitals, schools, land subdivisions, and commercial, industrial, and residential sites.
Urban Planner – Develop comprehensive plans and programs for use of land and physical facilities of jurisdictions, such as towns, cities, counties, and metropolitan areas.
3D Modeler/Renderer – Create detailed, three-dimensional virtual representations of outdoor spaces, including terrain, vegetation, structures, and water features, allowing clients to visualize a landscape design before it’s physically built.
