Leanne Bajkowski

Undergraduate Student Services Coordinator

Bio

Leanne is the Undergraduate Student Service Coordinator for the College of Design. She is the primary point of contact for prospective and current students who are pursuing a major or minor related to design. As a supporter for the arts, Leanne received her Bachelor of Arts in Art and Art History from UNC Charlotte in 2017. Her artistic and career aspirations lead in wanting to help other art related students in higher education. Before graduating with her Master of Arts in Higher Education from Appalachian State University in 2021. She worked with non-traditional students in obtaining their High School Equivalency diploma from a local community college. Then transitioned into an admission and advising role at a 4-year institution to assist with active-duty military, veterans, and their families for a couple of years before joining the team at NCSU.

As a first-generation, transfer, and prior military-affiliated student, Leanne understands the learning process and sometimes struggles navigating the higher education system. Feel free to stop by and see her in Brooks Hall 225 with the rest of the COD Admissions and Student Services team.
