Traci Rider, PhD recently received one of eight research studies from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) as a part of the Engaging Businesses for Health project.
Students in ID 300 recently entered a sustainability-focused design challenge sponsored by Cradle to Cradle, where students learned the importance of considering the environmental implications of bringing products into production throughout the design process.
Each year AIA Triangle recognizes the important contributions architecture students make to the world through the AIA Scholarship and design competition. To date AIA has awarded $53,000 to architecture students at the College of Design.

This past week marked the 16th annual NC Masonry Contractors Association Sigmon Memorial Scholarship Design Competition. Participating students worked in teams to develop unique solutions to design and model a hypothetical masonry office building.

The Department of Landscape Architecture here at the NC State Design just received final reaccreditation status from the Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board (LAAB) for the First Professional Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) program! The reaccreditation team that visited in Feburary 2016 found that the program meets and/or exceeds all LAAB accreditation standards.
