Organizations for Architecture Students

Architecture Graduate Student Association (AGSA)

The NC State Architecture Graduate Student Association (AGSA) is an organization dedicated to facilitating the development of a strong graduate student community within the School of Architecture at the College of Design.

American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS)

The NC State chapter of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) is a student-run organization that has been working for the betterment of the Architectural Education Community for over 50 years. Within this organization, there is also a community service branch called “Freedom by Design.”

Design Council

The Design Council is an interdisciplinary group of students within the College of Design with the goal of enriching and connecting the design student experience through social, community, and industry-related events.

Multicultural Design Student Association (MDSA)

The Multicultural Design Student Association offers exposure to the importance of diversity and is open to all students that include participation in community service and volunteer work and offers members the ability to engage with professionals in the community through guest speakers and other networking activities.

National Organization of Minority Architect Students (NOMAS)

NOMAS  is the NC State University chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architect Students. Launched in the Fall of 2018, it connects minority architect students to their peers, the community, and the architecture industry and offers several opportunities to network and get involved.
