First Professional LAAB Degree, Advanced Standing (Track II)

MLA Track II curriculum is designed for:

  • Graduate students with prior degrees in landscape architecture, architecture, or related design programs that are not LAAB accredited.
  • Graduate students obtaining concurrent degrees in Architecture, Urban Design or Urban and Regional Planning (UNC-CH).
  • Available free electives may be taken during summer sessions 1 and 2.

Important Note:

This is a sample curriculum. The actual required courses, number of studios (either 4 or 5), and credit hours will be determined based on evidence of work from the individual student’s undergraduate degree, and a portfolio review after completion of the first semester in the NCSU MLA program.

  4. Free electives may be taken in various semesters including summer sessions upon advisement with DGP.
