Student Research Symposium

DDes Student Research Symposium

Wednesday and Thursday, February 16-17, 9:00 am-1:00 pm

Please join us for a virtual student research symposium as members of DDes cohorts 1-4 give poster presentations on their research progress to date. Presentations will be spread out over two days and are divided into four categories: Environmental and Spatial Design; Design Education, Materials, Theory, and Research; Human-Computer Interactions, Digital Design and Communication; and Engaged Social Design and Organization Strategies.

Each student will have 12-15 minutes for their presentation with roughly 10 minutes for audience feedback and conversation. For this year’s research symposium we have a panel of expert reviewers (research specialists, hybrid practitioners, and advanced doctoral students) to lead discussion and evaluate student presentations.
