Tim Shih is Vice President of Design and User Experience at Yanfeng, overseeing teams in China, Germany, and the US. Yanfeng is one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers with 55,000 global employees and $18 billion annual revenue. Aside from manufacturing products for nearly all automotive brands, Yanfeng is focused on integrating its full product portfolio of interiors, exteriors, safety, seating, and electronics into future smart cabin solutions. Previous to joining Yanfeng in 2017, Tim worked for over ten years at BMW Group, contributing to 4, 5, 6, and 7 Series production vehicles in Munich, Germany, and later moving to Shanghai to lead design for Zinoro, BMW’s new-energy sub-brand developed for China. Before BMW, Tim worked for Johnson Controls in Germany and Japan, and began his career in 1998 at Volvo Trucks North America.

Innovative, creative and on the cutting edge of tomorrow’s designs, ClayVon Lowe, IDSA, based out of Charlotte, NC, is a leading authority in industrial design and custom automotive concepts. He’s designed everything from infant developmental toys for Baby Einstein/Kids II to home decor products in lighting, kitchen/bath and the nationally acclaimed KOBALT tool brand for Lowe’s Home Improvement. Currently, he serves as design and development lead at Lowe’s. He also tirelessly develops custom automotive concepts in his D Brand Designs studio.

He leads the global design team responsible for all consumer, commercial and SMB personal computers and smart device based offerings, including the legendary ThinkPad, multimode Yoga, IdeaPad and Lenovo Legion gaming product lines. He is a veteran award-winning industrial designer with numerous patents, publications and museum exhibitions under his belt.
