Apeksha Yadav is a graduate student in the Industrial Design program, and she’s working to reduce the environmental impact of the digital world.
While often considered a more earth-friendly space, the infrastructure needed to run the internet currently accounts for about 2% of the world’s energy use. Furthermore, only 60% of the global population presently has internet access.
Now, Apeksha is designing for the planet’s energy needs with the demands of a more online future in mind.
