Patrick Rand, FAIA, DPACSA, Receives Fulbright Distinguished Chair Award

Professor of Architecture Patrick Rand, FAIA, DPACSA, is one of the first NC State recipients of a Fulbright Distinguished Chair Award. The award is highly competitive and considered one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. He will be teaching + conducting research at Aalto University in Helsinki, Finland.

Alumni Team Wins Global Architecture Competition

Sarah Dickerson and Jessica Braverman, two NC State Design alumni, were part of a team recently awarded first place in the 15th annual Perkins+Will Global Design Competition. The Global Design Competition is an internal Perkins+Will challenge created to engage young design professionals throughout the firm’s 20 international offices and to encourage provocative and imaginative design.
