Photo Studio

The Brooks Photo Studio located in 115 Brooks Hall includes a variety of options for taking studio photographs of installation and project work. It includes multiple vinyl backdrops and a dedicated green screen wall for filming special effects.

An optional HAVOX Professional Photo Studio Light Box is available in the back of the room. The HAVOX light box is useful for taking medium sized artifacts and prototypes. 

All of the light panels in the room are controlled by a dedicated Leviton 8 Channel DMX LED lighting system – if you are using the space and the lights are not correctly working or if you have a question about setting up the lighting in the Photo Studio please reach out to the IT Staff or send an email to: Design_materialslab@ncsu.edu.

Additional photo/video equipment is available for checkout in the main checkout office at the  IT Lab Checkout Desk. 

Reserve the room through the IT Lab Checkout Desk to get the keys to Brooks 115.
