Business as Usual

As I’m sure everyone has noticed, local businesses have started shutting their doors in response to COVID-19. For now, many have set up makeshift alternatives to continue offering their goods and services. Unfortunately, with no end to our social distancing in sight, some of these businesses may never recover. The mounting costs of reopening, loss of essential staff, dramatically decreased income— this lull threatens what I love so much about Raleigh: a wealth of passionate business owners that bring color and character to the city.

If you have the ability, I implore you to support these businesses in any way you can. Buy gift cards where linked below, order things online or take out where you can (while you still can), find them on social media and see if they’ve published any way to support.
