Cecilia Mouat Croxatto is the director of the Art + Design graduate program and an assistant professor at NC State. She is originally from Chile and has 25+ years of experience as a designer, visual artist, and architect. Mouat Croxatto’s visual work includes experimental videos and documentaries, photography, digital collage and acrylic painting. Her current research is focused on the discourse of design and its representation in popular media, and how our experience of design is mediated by the things we see on a screen. She will discuss the fluctuating role of design writing for The Student Publication.
