Funded participation will prioritize paper presentations (peer-reviewed)&nbsp;and discussion panels over poster presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Travel Scholarship Amount<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Domestic Travel: Up to $500 per travel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International Travel: Up to $1,000 per travel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Max $1,500 per academic year per person<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">International Travel Grant <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/grad.ncsu.edu\/student-funding\/fellowships-and-grants\/opportunities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Travel Grant<\/a>\u00a0($500)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Travel Fund Request<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit your travel fund request via email to Director Newton D&#8217;Souza, <a href=\"mailto:nsdsouz2@ncsu.edu\">nsdsouz2@ncsu.edu<\/a>, at least one month before the event, including the information below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conference information (name, date, venue, and conference website)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peer-review results (paper acceptance letter, notification email, and\/or letter with review comments)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Published conference material (copy of submitted material)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel and expense budget itemized (registration fee, transportation, and lodging; no food)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support letter from the student\u2019s advisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Travel Scholarship Application Review Criteria<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Please see the review criteria&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/design.ncsu.edu\/phd-in-design\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2022\/05\/Travel-Scholarship-Committee_Review-Criteria.pdf\">here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Travel Report<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit your travel report&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScy2QvBlHKUUmmwue9U2Uhe2_W3jMsz9Lw23Hn7oUSnOe0FaQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;within one month after travel.
