Saeed Ahmadi Oloonabadi


Saeed is a Ph.D. Candidate and graduate extension assistant at North Carolina State University. He has been involved in research studies on Complete Streets, Active Living, equity in urban design, and utilizing VR/AR to engage marginalized communities. He has presented his research at international conferences in Amman, Jordan and Bologna, Italy.
Saeed has more than a decade of experience in architecture and urban design in academia and practice. He was a faculty member in the School of Architecture at Azad University and the CEO of Cube Architectural Group in Iran. He was awarded the Provost Fellowship from NC State in 2016, the Outstanding Award from the annual competition of Idea-King Awards in China in 2014 and the Exceptional Student Award from UNCC in 2013.
