Saeed Ahmadi Oloonabadi

Saeed is a Ph.D. candidate at North Carolina State University. He is an Augmented Reality enthusiast and has been involved in studies on digital participation, Active Living, environmental justice, health equity, and community-based participatory research. For his dissertation, he is introducing a novel Augmented Reality Participatory Platform to engage under-resourced communities in building healthier and more walkable neighborhoods.

Saeed has more than a decade of experience in architecture and urban design in academia and practice and has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences. Saeed was awarded the Provost Fellowship from NC State in 2016, the Outstanding Award from the annual competition of Idea-King Awards in China in 2014, and the Exceptional Student Award from UNC Charlotte in 2013.
