Rana Sidahmed is senior global creative director for creative and marketing at Avery Dennison, leading the Apparel Solutions global creative and marketing strategy for RBIS. She oversees the creative and marketing direction for all tools and executions that drive the brand story. In her role, Rana partners with brands and retailers to achieve their branding ambitions, building strategic creative partnerships with the world’s leading companies, including Adidas, Nike, Patagonia and more.
Rana and her teams approach branding with ingenuity, ensuring that sustainability is at the forefront. Avery Dennison makes a difference in the world by inventing and improving materials and how they’re manufactured. That ethos, combined with Rana’s personal passion to drive a circular economy, enables her to leverage Creative and Marketing to help accelerate the industry’s transition to a circular fashion system.
Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Rana held a number of creative leadership roles in the US and Europe. Roles in concept/trend research and brand design for brands including Levi’s, Diesel, Abercrombie and Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters and, Nike.
Rana has a bachelor’s in graphic design from the College of Design at North Carolina State University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in International Fashion Marketing in Glasgow Caledonian New York College. Rana lives in the heart of New York City with her husband and 2 boys.
