The William Keating Bayley Information Technology Laboratory houses the Brooks Lab Maker Space as well as provides support for several hybrid computer cluster spaces available in Brooks Hall, Leazar Hall and Kamphoefner Hall<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Digital Fabrication Studio @ 111 Lampe Drive is home for the Industrial Design program for the College of Design which opened the Fall of 2023 as a premiere hub not just for faculty and students, but also as the Community Center for the Industrial Designers in the Triangle, alumni and designers throughout NC.

The Digital Fabrication Studio and Maker Spaces blends a variety of software and tools for generating real world, functional prototypes in support of ongoing curriculum for Industrial Design, Architecture and other interdisciplinary focused projects and multidisciplinary research for industry\/outreach on campus.

Request 3D Printing Service Form<\/a> to have your file(s) processed for 3D printing in the lab.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please be patient – Currently the 3D Printers have a full queue and are in high demand; submissions are being processed in the order the request forms get submitted. Due to increase print demands, you may not be able to get your 3D prints within 2-3 days.
Expect 2-3 days just for processing and printing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
