On Saturday, April 6th, Design Council will be hosting the annual Studio Collective in Leazar Hall from 1:00 to 6:00 PM. There will be an opportunity for everyone to screen print their own College of Design t-shirt, live music, and displays of this year’s work from students in every design major. Light catering will also be provided.
Frank Harmon has designed sustainable modern buildings across the Southeast for 30 years. Native Places is a collection of watercolor sketches and essays about architecture, landscape, everyday objects, and nature. Harmon promotes the belief that hand drawing is not an obsolete skill – that sketching offers us an opportunity to develop a natural grace in the way we view the world and take part in it.
