Neighborland co-founder Dan Parham will share a methodology called “community-centered design” which helps engage residents in the planning of our communities. Dan will share the theory that shaped this methodology, along with case studies from across Neighborland’s 200 projects, including the Dorothea Dix Park Master Plan. Neighborland is a communications platform that empowers civic organizations to collaborate with the public in an accessible, participatory, and equitable way. As a social enterprise, Neighborland has worked with over 200 city agencies, universities, foundations, and non-profits across the U.S. Over 3,000,000 residents have participated on Neighborland, and these projects have yielded over $1 billion in social and economic impact.
