NCSU Agroecology Farm (about 15 minutes from COD, see below).
Below are written directions describing how to get to the farm.  Additionally, here is a direct link for directions on Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/f6rLDMC9t8z
From NC State College of Design:
Head southwest on Pullen Road.  Turn right onto Western Blvd then take the first left onto Nazareth St (before the Avent Ferry Rd intersection).  At the end of Nazareth St, turn left onto Centennial Parkway.  At the end of Centennial Parkway past the Farmer’s Market, turn right onto Lake Wheeler Rd.  Drive 3 miles then turn right onto Mid Pines Rd (directly after The Point Church on the right). Drive 0.5 miles down the gravel path and the entrance to the Agroecology Education Farm will be on your left.
From I-40:
Take exit 295 for Gorman St and turn south (turn right if coming from Durham, turn left if coming from Gardner).  Take first left onto Tryon Rd, then the first right onto Mid Pines Rd.  Drive 2 miles down the gravel path and the entrance to the Agroecology Education Farm will be on your right.
There is a hoop house located halfway down the drive.  Turn left here, then follow the parking signs to drive around the deer fence and park in the field behind the sheds.
