CRDM Symposium 2019

March 28 - March 30

Registration is now open for our upcoming CRDM Symposium 2019: Dialog 2.0: Social Movements, Online Communication + Transformation which will be held on Thursday, March 28th – Saturday, March 30th. This symposium will also feature several in the College of Design communict, including Art + Design Department Head Pamela Jennings, Sara Queen, Tania Allen, Lauren Caddick (ADN Graduate Student), Ashley Beatty (AdN Graduate Student), and Saige Martin (ADN Graduate Student).

CRDM Symposium 2019

Keynote speakers:
  • Dylan Marron, writer, performer, and video maker, as well as from the hit podcast, “Conversations with People Who Hate Me”
  • Dr. Blair Kelley, Assistant Dean for Interdisciplinary and International Programs for CHASS + Associate Professor of History at NC State University
  • Dr. Zizi Papacharissi,  Professor and Head of the Communication Department + Professor of Political Science at the University of Chicago-Illinois
In addition to keynote speakers, there will be two days of concurrent panels, workshops, and performances from amazing scholars, leaders, and community members from all over the nation.
While this event is free, limited seating is available for certain events so registration is required and now open! Registration deadline: March 21, 2019.
