A day-long architectural workshop with teams of architects from North Carolina, exploring future possibilities for the sites where Central Prison and The Governor Morehead School are located, on 81.2 acres north of Dix Park. Consideration will be given to Raleigh’s economy, connectivity, and design – for the good of its people and its environment. Priority registration goes to our sponsors and partners. CONNECT 81.2: What if a DISCONNECTED 81.2 acres in the heart of Raleigh were transformed into multi-pronged opportunities for urban CONNECTION?

This is the question AIA Triangle is asking architects and other designers to explore, investigate, dream, and debate, in order to prompt a public discussion about issues of design and development in our city.
