She received her bachelor\u2019s degree in Housing and Interior Design, master\u2019s degree in Architectural Engineering, and Ph.D. in Interior Architecture from Yonsei University of South Korea. She also holds a master\u2019s degree in Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design. She gained practical experience as a designer and engineer while working at Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd.
