Passionate about creating ethical and beautiful products for the digital space, Lexi is a designer, leader, and educator with over a decade of experience. A communicator first and foremost, her philosophy is to break down barriers between the technical and non-technical by simplifying the complex, and she has worked with a variety of organizations including the The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, Public Media NC, Research Triangle Foundation, and Duke University.<\/p>\n

Lexi was a Roy H. Park Fellow at the University of North Carolina School of Media and Journalism, where she holds her master\u2019s degree in interactive media. An advocate for accessible education and a believer in the power of storytelling, she has been a teacher, mentor, and speaker on design and technology since 2015. Lexi is currently the Lead Digital Product Designer of Public Platforms at Mayo Clinic and is working on her doctorate at North Carolina State University, focused on ethical-centered design.<\/p>\n

Lexi\u2019s research focuses on understanding how digital product designers working in US-based tech organizations can operationalize harm-reduction within their fast-paced practices.<\/p>\n
