BETlab directly supports the School of Architecture in the College of Design at North Carolina State University in its endeavors to reach its research and institutional goals related to sustainability and building technologies.
In particular, BETlab targets opportunities with the Ph.D. Program in the College of Design at large, the Master of Architecture Program, and the graduate certificate program “Building Energy & Technology in Architecture (BETA)” to cooperatively support student research and program curriculum.
STUDENT INVOLVEMENT: Student Involvement from each of the the above noted Programs is a key component to the development of the research culture and technological innovations that BETlab is striving to achieve.
Through participation in BETlab projects and supported curriculum, students are involved in research support & direction and are encouraged to apply the gained knowledge in their design process.
