The\u00a0mission\u00a0of the\u00a0Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities Initiative (AH+SC)<\/a>\u00a0is\u00a0to provide educational resources\u00a0for government, non-profit and community leaders, students and the general public,\u00a0and innovative and applicable solutions to the housing and urban challenges that\u00a0North Carolina communities face. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Traditional research and applied research through\u00a0community-based demonstration and\u00a0service-learning projects are potent means to produce substantive,\u00a0applicable and measurable outcomes.
