Our students do great work while they\u2019re here, but it doesn\u2019t stop on our campus. The hours they spend in the studio build a foundation for success in the creative economy and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of our alumni stay local, reflecting the rich connection between the College of Design and the community at large, and bolstering a diverse network of talent in the North Carolina Piedmont.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Research Triangle of North Carolina is the creative hub of the region \u2014 a place where experimentation and entrepreneurship unite to form a rich design culture. Others head out to join the best design practices in the world and become leaders in their fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many start their own companies and return to guest-lecture, while others partner with our students to help them build their portfolios and solve real-world problems. And many come back. We welcome our alumni to come back and share their expertise as guest lecturers, instructors, and mentors to our students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our grads are united by shared experiences and love for the College of Design. No one does it alone, and College of Design grads are connected to a creative network for life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design + Build Studio<\/h2>\n

The School of Architecture has a long-standing design-build program. Each summer student teams, led by experienced faculty, design and build a project for community clients.

The Summer Design + Build Studio has deservedly earned its reputation for incredibly well-conceived and executed projects that make a positive impact on the client and community. The Summer Design + Build Studio takes projects from inception to completion in just eleven weeks.<\/p>\n \n

Employers are invited to recruit our talent through scheduling on-campus recruitment, attendance at the Career Expo and participation in select special events. We partner with the NC State Career Development Center to offer all of our recruiting partners access to ePack, the University\u2019s online recruiting tool, for job and internship postings.<\/p>\n\n\n
