Alumnus, Mike Cuales Receives NC State University Awards for Excellence

Creative Director of DELTA’s New Media Development Mike Cuales was honored with the NC State University Awards for Excellence at the recognition ceremony June 7 at Talley Student Union. The award is the most prestigious honor bestowed upon non-faculty employees.

After receiving the Provost’s Unit Award for Excellence, Cuales moved on to the university-level award. As one of 12 recipients of the NC State University Awards for Excellence, Cuales received an additional eight hours of paid time off, a check for $1,000 and an engraved plaque. Cuales will be submitted for consideration for the Governor’s Awards for Excellence.

Cuales was nominated by Associate Vice Provost for Instructional Technology Support and Development Donna Petherbridge in the efficiency and innovation category for his relentless pursuit of innovative excellence.
