C3 Teachers is an open, collaborative organization for social studies teachers to interact about enhancing social studies. C3 Teachers aims to empower teachers as they wrestle with the big ideas and instructional implications of the College, Career, and Civic Life Framework for Social Studies State Standards (the “C3 Framework”). For more about this educational standards framework, please see http://www.socialstudies.org/c3.
We need someone to help design a new logo and do some basic website layout work for our C3 Teachers project – http://www.c3teachers.org. We are currently using a modified SquareSpace template to deliver our website content. As you can see, the site is not very coherent. We are not pleased with the current retro 70s style logo. Looking for something that is less clunky and more transparent. We’ve had a difficult time using the logo in other branding – for example on a newly established Facebook page and Twitter account. We are eager to promote our work with a larger teacher audience, but want to get the logo and overall design cleaned up first.
Our site is currently focused on blog content. We plan to continue that effort and expand with project news, the publication of instructional materials, and the hosting collaborative work.
Ability to use SquareSpace interface – http://www.squarespace.com/

We are looking to hire someone immediately.
