The Office of Student and Academic Services has a full schedule of programs and events that relate to career development.
Amanda Williams is the director of career and academic advising at the College. Amanda provides career assistance to all students in the College of Design including resume reviews, advice on preparing for interviews and information about the job/internship search process. She also works with students and faculty on issues related to academic advising. Prior to joining the College of Design in November 2010, Amanda worked in Career Services at UNC Chapel Hill and Boston College. She has worked in a number of other student services capacities including academic advising, orientation and leadership development. Additionally, Amanda is a member of several professional associations and actively networks with student affairs professionals across the Triangle.
Kiley Moorefield is the career services intern in the College. She will be providing assistance with resume reviews, career workshops, and the job and internship search process. Kiley is a second year in the Higher Education Administration master’s program at NC State and also works as a researcher with the National Initiative for Leadership and Institutional Effectiveness (NILIE) in the College of Education. She has experience in admission, alumni relations,international programs, leadership development, and academic advising. Kiley graduated from Elon University with a degree in Corporate Communications in 2007.

Pre-registration is required. This two-day event is open to all students in the College of Design who are currently seeking internships, part-time or full-time positions. Organizations with open positions will come to campus to conduct interviews with students.
