South Quad Spring 2013

NC State College of Design and NCSU|AIAS Chapter would like to invite you to a South Quad Conference that will focus on how we REDEFINE architecture as students, academics, and professionals by the way we think about ourselves, our architectural work and our city.

We feel that Raleigh, like many Southern cities, is in the process of redefining itself through the work of iconic architecture and contemporary architects who push the boundaries of conventional building types and methodologies. We want to highlight the role of large and small projects and firms in shaping Raleigh. At the same time that the Redefine theme is about the city, it is also about us as young architects. We, as men and women, digital composers and hand modelers, undergraduate and graduate students are shaping the future of the architecture profession and we need inspiration.
